Accessibility statement
Bit-Smart considers it important to make the site accessible to people with disabilities, and works to let everyone receive equal and independent service on the site.
Accessibility level
The site was built to meet the requirements of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and the Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the WCAG guidelines at level AA.
Adjustments made to the site
- Full navigation using the keyboard alone, with a clear indication of the active element.
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Semantic structure: hierarchical headings, navigation and main-content regions, and a defined page language (Hebrew or English).
- Images have alternative text (alt), and decorative images are marked so that screen readers skip them.
- Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for regular text, also in dark display mode.
- Form fields are labeled, and form messages are announced to screen readers.
- The option to pause the automatic scrolling of testimonials, and animations respect the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
- The site is responsive and suited to mobile viewing, and can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content.
- Support for Hebrew (right to left) and English (left to right), with a language switch on every page.
Known limitations
- Some of the images in blog posts are screenshots of dashboards. The alternative text describes them briefly, not all of the data in them.
- The posts include links to external content (podcasts, YouTube and social networks) whose accessibility is determined by their providers.
- The accessibility check was carried out with automated tools and an internal manual review. An accessibility audit by a certified external party has not yet been carried out, so some defects may remain undetected.
